Teifi Cheese
Lampeter Store – Friday 22nd August
In 1981 John, Patrice and Paula came to Wales from their native Holland with dreams of setting up a centre for learning organic farming and self-sufficiency. They bought Glynhynod Farm (meaning Remarkable Valley in Welsh) and set to work realising their vision. Soon after arriving at the farm Patrice, who trained as a cheesemaker in Holland, started making wonderful raw milk cheese. Based on a 500-year-old Gouda recipe, it is the very same cheese that they make today and is named after the nearby river Teifi, a tributary of which runs through the farm. Having started in 1982 they are now the longest established artisan cheesemaker in Wales. Today the farm and family businesses are run by John and Patrice’s two sons; John-James and Robert, who are carrying on their parents’ vision for the farm and Caws Teifi Cheese.

All About the Olive - Sensationally good Greek olive oil
Lampeter Store - Saturday 23rd August
We first visited Lesvos over ten years ago on the back of a motorcycle from London. Ioannis is Greek, but this was my first visit to Greece. The Island has a authentic charm that has drawn us to return time and time again. We loved it so much we got married there in 2014.
One of the things that attracted us to the Lesvos was the food. We are passionate about good food and quality organic ingredients and Lesvos has this in abundance.
Lesvos is especially famous for Ouzo and olive oil. The history of olive oil production goes back over 1000 years. We were delighted to discover an organic press producing sensational olive oil only 15 minutes to where we were staying. We tried this oil, ordered as much as we could take home and haven't looked back.
We believe this is the best olive oil you can buy; we hope you do too.
