Part-time Bakery Cleaner

4 days a week.

Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays & Saturdays

£11.00/hr

An energetic someone, with a positive attitude and enthusiasm, who is also meticulous and hard-working, to support our great team, at Watson & Pratts Bakery, an independent bakery, based in the rural market town of Lampeter, West Wales.

We need someone to assist our team of bakers and bakery assistants, by completing day-to-day cleaning and prep tasks, as the team produce our speciality sourdough, delicious pastries, and other baked goods for our two shops, home-delivery and wholesale customers.

This position offers the opportunity to join an energetic & lively, food loving team, whose priority is to provide a range of high standard sourdoughs, pastries and cakes, which are renowned in the locality and beyond.

We need someone who:

• has cleaning experience
• is flexible and can work extra hours, to cover staff holidays
• can keep a clean and tidy workspace and prepare the kitchen for the bakers
• respond to direction
• work diligently to maintain our high hygiene standards

Shift pattern would be

• Mondays 10am-3pm
• Wednesdays 11am-3pm
• Thursdays 10am-3pm
• Saturdays 10am-3pm
• One hour shift on a Sunday, once a month, to feed the levains (paid double time)

There is also an opportunity to work more hours during December, in the busy run up to Christmas!
