The name means “Against the Wind” or “against all odds”; it is a nod to planting a coastal native grape in sun-drenched La Mancha, where “the sun reigns and the wind never stops”. Despite the sunny, warm climate, vineyard altitude and cool night temperatures preserve freshness and lift, giving classic Albariño character with bright lemon meringue notes and clean acidity.
